A tanker transporting diesel around
12:30 a.m on Saturday in the Idimu area of Lagos fell close to a
petroleum pipeline. A fire broke out, and 36 houses were subsequently
razed.
According to News updates,
none of the residents living around the affected area were hurt, as
they were able to leave their houses on time as the fire was raging.
Lagos State governor Akinwunmi Ambode visited the scene:
