President Buhari arrives Nigeria; to visit Cameroon on July 29 for talks on Boko Hram

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Abuja, Nigeria’s capital after a four-day trip to the United States of America that has been generally adjudged as successful.
President Buhari arrived the Nnamdi Azikwe international airport, Abuja in the early hours of Thursday.

While in the United States, president Buhari met with American president, Barack Obama and other top officials of the American government, with discussions centered around efforts to defeat Boko Haram and tackle terrorism in Nigeria’s northeast as well as energy development, education and economy growth.
To consolidate on international cooperation to address insurgency, president Buhari will also be travelling to Cameroon on July 29 to discuss with president Paul Biya on cross-border collaborations to fight Boko Haram and further strengthen sub-regional efforts at countering terrorism.
