Singer, Jodie Nnaji, has allegedly separated from her actor husband, David, barely a year after getting married.

According to Punch News, the couple parted ways few months ago, setting a new record as the fastest celebrity marriage break-up.

The Nnaji’s got married in October 2015, at a traditional event held in Delta State.

It was reported that the pair welcomed their first child, a bouncing baby boy, in April 2016. The news of their alleged split has come as a shock.

Punch however confirmed in a telephone conversation with David, that he is still married to his wife. The news company stated that the pair are only estranged at the moment.

“I don’t know where you got that story from because it is wicked and malicious. I am still married to my wife and I am not thinking of leaving her now or in the future”, the actor said.
